Updated with a quick pictures behind my wheel

Roads here in West Michigan are probably the worst I've ever driven on right now. Made it to work safely somehow, and then slid into a curb 20ft from where I park. FML. Was going slow obviously but it didn't sound good, I'll have to take the wheel off and check it out when I get out in the morning. I think it's safe to say that tomorrow morning is going to suck since it's still going to be blizzarding.

Ouch, the roads must really be awful. How did you hit the curb? Like straight on or at an angle?

I would say a slight angle. Seemed to drive fine the rest of the 20ft to my parking spot but there's a lot that could be messed up it's hard to tell..

In OPs defense - we had a lot of rain and slightly above freezing temps during the first blast of snow this weekend. SO now we have strong winds, much lower temps, and more snow on top of what is now ICE. So lots of spots are quite hazardous even though they don't look it until you press a pedal or turn the wheel and get that lovely feeling through the wheel of rubber sliding.....

Plus I haven't seen a single plow out here in east gr yet. Visibility was awful on 96 too, and having an rsx on all seasons doesn't help.

Yeah my FiST on blizzaks is doing fine and dandy but I pruposely avoided the freeway even if it took longer to get home on side streets because I was afraid of people sliding around. Saw two people slide into parked cars anyways.

A stupid suburban came within inches of hitting me while they tried passing on the freeway, I had to veer almost off the road to prevent an accident I was pretty pissed.
